A mighty fortress...
No kidding. This 12 ft granite statue is believed to be the largest statue of Martin Luther in the Western Hemisphere. It was carved from a single piece of granite from China. Susan enjoyed a day trip to Lenoir-Rhyne University in Hickory, NC, on Tuesday to speak at research day festivities.
