Last night's walk allowed the blog to connect West Salem to Peters Creek Parkway and the Marketplace Shopping Center, proving that it's easy for anyone who lives in the Washington Park neighborhood to walk to a $2.50 movie. But the news of lasting interest comes from a small article in Wednesday morning's Winston-Salem Journal titled Old Roads: Maps from 1760s onward of this area now online.
